I've been a big fan of the Made by Others blog for awhile now, where Anna, the shop owner, posts lovely pics of her store. Made by Others sells gorgeous artwork, ceramics, and lots of lovely handmade goodness, which now includes Pocket Carnival!

How gorgeous is that display? Clearly Anna has a great eye for beautiful products.

roseus gifts - gifts for girls!

Another of Pocket Carnival's new stockists is Roseus Gifts - Roseus is an online gift store for girls! Everything on the site is very girlie - there's a great mix of gifts for newborns & babies, and gifts for older girls too.


And really, I'm sure a lot of us old girls would be very happy to get a cupcake soap any time!

i want: the little paper lane window display

Sometimes Shannon & I email each other photos of shops we'd like to run. I think this is one of them - how cute is Little Paper Lane looking!

Lovely Jade, the owner of Little Paper Lane, only opened the store this year, and it looks so fabulous. They've just decorated for the holidays - it's a beautiful colour outside, and I think the duck egg blue / candy stripe combo is one of my favourite things about the Australian holiday season - it's so bright & beachy & fresh, with just little hints of candies, snow & yummy things.

So cute! Look at those wee little blue elephants on the table.

Little Paper Lane also takes phone & email orders, but I think it'd be super fun to pop in with my gifts and choose wrapping paper all year round from the paper wall.

window shopping: little lulu

I always love the window displays at Little Lulu in Balaclava.

They're constantly changing, always something fun & new to look at! And it's super close to delicious Glicks... definitely a win! And I get a little happiness seeing my purses in the window too.

new stockist: larry post!

Larry Post is an amazingly gorgeous website & such a clever idea, brought to you by lovely people: perfect! I've been stocking on Larry Post for awhile now, and I am in love with the concept behind the site. It's all about surprising someone with the perfect gift.

On Larry Post, you can Surprise Someone, do it Secretly, do it in a cascade of gifts (imagine receiving a series of Roald Dahl books, 1 month apart). You can even send a random surprise to someone living in your street!

I think my favourite section is For Fun - I'd love to be surprised with any of these gifts!

new stockist: state of green! plus an interview

I'm excited to announce a new stockist for Pocket Carnival goodies: State of Green!

Jenny, who is amazingly awesome, collects eco-friendly goodies which adhere to eco-friendly criteria. The labels for sale on State of Green are amazing in that as well as leaving a lighter footprint on the earth, they are beautiful, as well as practical.

Jenny was lovely enough to conduct a little mini-interview with me which you can see on the State of Green blog - you'll also get a sneak peek at my newest fabric design (it's jungle-y!)

new stockist: Fannyz

As we're starting to roll down the home stretch toward Christmas, Pocket Carnival's going to be appearing in a few new shops around town (hopefully near you!)

The newest is gorgeous Fannyz Jakaan, on Chapel Street in Windsor.

Fannyz is full of their own label of fun & pretty clothes, as well as accessories from local designers - they also have a gallery of artwork!

And, it's opposite Lucky Coq - you can have a $4 pizza for lunch, and save your pennies to buy pretty things instead. Sounds like a plan, man.

hurrah for nook shop

I'm so excited to be stocked in Queensland's very newest crafty handmade shop; Nook. It only opened last Saturday, and I'm very jealous of every one who lives close enough to visit!

It looks gorgeous, yes? I love the little fawn standing amongst all the beautiful jewellery!

It's stocked full of lots of my favourite labels (including lovely Able&Game!)
