springtime with babiekins!

Hello! You may remember that a little while back I showed a peek at some illustrations I was working on? Well, I'm delighted to tell you all that these illustrations are all in the new issue of Babiekins! The Spring edition! (It sort of feels like Spring in Melbs at the moment!)

Even though I don't have any babies of my own (I wish!), Babiekins is probs my fave online magazine. It's free, bonus! It's beautifully curated & laid out, it's quite fast to load, and it's just lovely!

So, go take a look at Issue #4 of Babiekins now!

And, if you'd like, you can skip ahead to page 87 to check out my little contribution.

I've gotta say, I did these illustrations during some of the hotter weather in Melbs, so the colours are bright!

I'm thinking about using my three favourite illustrations for either pencilcases or coinpurses... we'll see!

melbourne design market tomorrow!

Such a frantic time of year! I've been very busy in my little business, but a bit quiet on the blog!

I've been sewing up some pretty thinks for the Melbourne Design Market tomorrow - pretty purses & clutches made of Ink & Spindle fabrics, and vintage & new cottons. Yay!

Ink & Spindle are at the market selling their beautiful fabrics and homewares, and a few crafty people (Shannon, Matt & myself) will be selling gorgeous things made with Ink & Spindle fabrics.

So, if you're in Melbourne tomorrow, come say hi!

Melbourne Design Market
10am - 5pm

Hooray for excellent almost-ready plums on my little plum tree (birds not welcome!)

Such a frantic time of year! I've been very busy in my little business, but a bit quiet on the blog! I was happy to get a copy of Homespun, which is a super sweet magazine full of crafty projects & news - this issue they had a little Toadstool feature and included one of my prints - thanks Homespun!!!

You can get your own copy here.

beach mini-break

Chris and I managed to get away to lovely Mornington Peninsula for a little mini-break this week. Hooray! I'm not a good relaxer, especially just before Christmas - there was a bit of work done (a new fabric design, yay!) and many calls to my brother to check things on the Internet. I did read the new Peppermint, hooray! Love it!

We did have a great time, much food was eaten, and we braved the rather cold water - this is the surf beach, we didn't swim there!

Now, back to work I go!

let's chillax

Frankie, World Sweet World, Oddfellows by theblackapple and afghan cookies - let's do this every Sunday!

i went out for lunch...

And came back with:

Badges! I made these little ones at Sticky - my favourite is the little tiny bear one, you can be sure to see more soon! It took me so long to get them just right & printed up... I was a little bit late for lunch, but my friends were too so it's all okay!

I just need to figure out packaging, then I can add some to my shop.

The latest Mixtape! I think this is my favourite issue yet! You can buy your own copy here.

And a little bit of Little Red Riding Hood fabric... pretty!
