my creative space: from above

It's been hot this week, especially in my little studio which gets all the afternoon sun. So, I've been working on the kitchen table a lot.

I've been creating - a new fabric design - I think this one's going to be cute!

Gift tags, so many gift tags! (Get your gift tags here, in the shop, of course.)

And, just for fun, rice paper rolls. Delicious! (These are from last night... you can now see the recipe-ish here!)

I'm really enjoying the standing-on-a-chair-taking-photos-from-above method!

nice 'air' shots...
you have inspired me with those rice rolls..I need to learn how to make those for my son's lunchbox, is that tofu i see?
Since the school has gone completely egg and nut free, and I can't rely on peanut butter, and curried egg anymore, i need more ideas!

Love your work, stripes, well they always rock. Love rice paper rolls, great way to use up left overs or bits & pieces when you don't feel like stir fry too. Love Posie

The shots from above are great. If I tried that in my chaotic, crowded little studio, it would be classed as an extreme sport!

I have that same pencil box but in purple. And the sight of fresh, healthy food makes me swoon. Really puts my leftover pizza to shame.

Thank-you for you lovely comment about my hat; red is especially best for a Valentine's Day hat! I will be thinking about thoses rice wraps in about five months!
